It’s AARP-action stars plugged into a fuzzy formula of retired-CIA getting pulled back into action to unmask a shady Vice Prez….oh, who cares? The joy of seeing Helen Mirrren and Morgan Freeman having some fun in a popcorn movie outweighs the tired Bruce Willis and “trying-too-hard” Mary-Louise Parker, but John Malkovich is the scene stealer of this All-Star Cast. Golden Globe noms rewarded stunt-casting of senior citizens in youth genre more so than originality.
